I found on an old post someone got a great deal on theirs, I want to share the deal I just got to anyone interested in purchasing. The site is stylintrucks, they offer free shipping, and if you enter coupon code JENN30, the cost of the Bakflip G2, for a Cmax w/o rails came to $600.69 with the discount. Thanks all again!
Good looking out! I was about to drop about a hundred more til I read your post. Just ordered it and can't wait!

Re: G2 Bakflip installed on Crewmax w/pics and small review
Hey guys and gals thought I let you all know what I did a few weeks back. After a year or so you will start to see that the rubber seal used on the base rails starts to rip and flatten out as you use the top or open just a few panels as your transporting things. So I stopped by my Lowes one weekend found some slightly thicker and wider stuff and replaced all mine and now its almost 100% water tight I think. It was a cheap fix and added value in the long run. If anyone is interested I can try and get some pictures and maybe even the brand of the stuff I used. I will say at first the cover sits a little higher till the new rubber gasket compresses a little but now its almost were it was nice flat and sealed.
Re: G2 Bakflip installed on Crewmax w/pics and small review
Please send pics and the name of the stuff if you can... I have the g2 bakflip for about a month. I just went through the first heay rain and it filled the beed up with water. I had "professional" installation so I will be taking it back to see what is going on.
A little water is ok, flooding above the ribs on the bedliner is not ok....
Thanks for your posts, I find them very informative!

I say take it back have them make sure they got the rails level and also the drain tube going out without any kinks in the line which may cause the water to backup in the rail and drain in the cargo area.
Well I grabbed a few quick pics tonight and went in the garage to look for the model number for the stuff I used but some how I must of tossed out the label but I was able to find the stuff again. I got it from lowes and it was under 10.00 per roll of 10' so you may need atleast 2 rolls to replace the 2 sides and I also used some of the left over stuff as a tailgate seal which seems to help some too.
Stuff I got, I picked mine up at Lowes but sure you can find it else were too.

Strike one on the Bakflip. No lowering brackets for the deckrail system. Mailbox is full so can't leave a message. Hope they rectify this problem quickly.

Sorry to hear of the problem make sure who ever you got it from sent you the right model # there are 2, one for without the lowering plates and one with them. So if the place your got them for ordered the wrong one hard to blame Bakflip, just my .02
You can still put the bakflip on without them and just remove the deckrails till they send you the plates.

Re: G2 Bakflip installed on Crewmax w/pics and small review
It gets better. Not only did they forget the relocation brackets for the deckrails but they forgot the elevator bolts with fastening knobs and the arm stay locks with fastening knobs. Essentially they provided me with no hardware. I guess San Fransisco is pretty close to Humboldt county.
On another note, WT,did you get the fittings and smaller drain tubing on your own or did they provide it for you as well. I think they just missed out on all the hardware.

that sucks man, every thing should have been in the box. When I got mine it was two boxes. One with the cover itself and all the harware in a bag. the second box contained the rails and its mounting hardware. From what I have read hear they are very good at correcting issues so they should treat you well when you do end up getting hold of them. Here is their phone # if you need it:(818) 365-9000 they are located in San Fernando CA

Yeah I got my own brass elbows and smaller tubbing from the local hardware store. Not saying you missed them but did you double check to make sure they did toss the bag of hardware on the outside of the foam packing material by accident and its stuck there. If not they may have forgot to toss that one hardware bag into the box.
Yes if you have not heard from anyone email Julian I put his email here some were and I am sure they try and get the hardware out to you ASAP, or work with the company your ordered through they should be able to get this fixed quickly for you too I hope.
