soft is pointless if you want to lock it..... although some will stay "secure" with the tailgate locked..... nothing a knife can't handle. Sure a prybar can open a hard..... but would be more effort. I prefer hard cover.

I have the Access Lorado - and I love mine. It allows me to completely open up the bed for hauling - without the need to remove the cover. Obviously since its not a hard cover, i can't walk or put anything on it. The Lorado is lockable (assuming your tailgate is locked). However, since it is just a vinyl cover - any jerkoff with a knife can get to whatever they want, right? The price was right too - I got mine from RealTruck.com and they had a "one day" sale where they took 15% off of the normal 424.95 price - which made the Lorado $363.60 with free shipping. Not a bad deal.

Cost is really the factor here. Soft is around 320, semi-hard 600+, extra hard 1k+

(uhhh, hu-hu, hu-hu, he said hard)

I have an undercover, my second. I would not have anything else. It locks and can be removed in about 5 minutes max, if needed. It's a nice hard top that locks without the tailgate being locked.

Truxedo. Lockable and self-adjusting for temperature changes. Had one on my Frontier and now the Tundra.

Front Susp: Stock coilovers, 4" lift (http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...6-4-inch-lift/), swapped extra spacers for Bilstein 5100s on lowest setting, wheel well height still 41.5." Rear Susp: ProComp ES3000 #326510 (2.25" taller than stock), 1.25" blocks plus PRG mini-pack (http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forum...and-new-truck/) gives 2.25" total lift, parking brake cable bracket spacers, wheel well height 43." Front diff and rear ds drop; trailer hitch electrical harness tucked up above bumper. After 20K miles swapped 305/65/18 BFG AT for 285/75/18 Toyo AT, still on stock 18x8x60 offset TRD wheels, about 1/8" clearance to sway bar. Like the extra height but miss the width. Next time either 305/70/, 295/70, or 35x12.50/18. Added 5th 285/75/18 Toyo AT as spare. Bed Bounce: Stiffer E-tires are worse than stock P-metric; biggest improvement from PRG mini-pack, slight improvement from shocks. Still a stiff ride but tolerable now. Best things about this truck: 5.7 and transmission, interior size and comfort, very quiet at high speed. Worst things about this truck: bed bounce, no VSC in 4wd, mileage sucks above 70.

Truxedo. Locks with the tailgate and everything so far has stayed nice and dry. It rolls up and back with one person in less than 30 seconds. I would say the best soft roll up cover out there.
Check out this site for free shipping (also available for CM with or without deck rails)
