Cool Retrax Rigid Retractable Bed Cover?

After a quick search I cannot find any opinion on this so here is a new thread! I am looking at fitting the Retrax Rigid Retractable Pickup Bed Cover (http://www.rolltopcover.com/) on my new 08 Crewmax X-SP. Does anybody have good or bad experiences with this system before I commit to lots of $? Thanks.
Nick

I don't have any experience but don't think I would won't to have an electric cover on my truck. Might be a bit of a headache but then again it could be a great idea I dont think that helped

I'm really surprised that your search here on TS did not produce anything. Alot of us have Retrax covers and most if not all are happy. I had a fiberglass lid on my access cab and it was much better looking, but functionality sucked.

The Retrax is more versatile and I just found out today that they came out with Cargo Mate which will act like tie downs for a bed net or tarp. I would buy again and again. I bought mine from member 123Gone and got a fair deal. Installation was easy and I did it myself.

Try doing a search again just for the work RETRAX in all forums. I get close to 400 hits on it.

Thanks TundraBear - the search led me to alot more this time.

I am not sure I want the electric remote opening and closing roller motor but what's the deal with connecting the lock to the central locking for the rest of the truck? Anybody know if there is any way the tailgate lock can be incorporated into this too?

i have an electric tailgate lock that is integrated with my oem alarm. once i disarm the truck and the doors are unlocked, so is the tailgate.

i presume that you could bundle the trigger wire for the retrax lock with a tailgate lock to get the same result.

I have RETRAX one year now on crewmax and NO PROBLEMS.

Low profile, easily retractable manually (I wouldn't get electric) looks VERY good.

Fiberglass best looking out, but retrax is more functional.
Any truck guy who sees it for first time is impressed by it, so am I.

Hope this helps people who are on fence as I was one year ago.

I finally got the Retrax fitted and I love it. Does anybody have drain tubes fitted to the base of the rollback box to dump the excess water that collects when rolling it back wet outside the bed? How do you fit the tubes?
