Thumbs up Installed Truxedo Deuce!

I finally pulled the trigger and got a Deuce. Still never got a decisive call on whether it will work with a Trac Rac, but for $386 shipped (on ebay) I had to do it. I spent about two hours installing and tweaking it. I have the track rails so the clamps fit into the rails. I had to move the latch mechanism slightly because it contacted the front rail but not a big deal. Quality and fit is great. The cover is tight fitting and seems weather tight. The front opening feature will be great once I get a tool chest that sits below the rails.

That's sweet!

Been looking for a tonneau cover now that my nephews are old enough for camping trips.

But I wanted one I can open up on a whim (unexpected antique store finds, lumber runs, and surprise large tool sales at Home Depot - you never know).

This may be the ticket!

I got a Extang Trifecta ... its a tri-folding soft cover (10 year warranty), New install from box to truck takes maybe 5 minutes, crazy nice everyone that has seen it loves it ... does not leak a drop either, take about 5 seconds to open and fold it and can be taken totally off in about 2 minutes ... very, very wide cross bars on it and I could not be happier with it, got it Brand New on ebay for $299 ... its the same design as the Extang Solid Fold but instead of it being like the Solid Fold mine is soft ... oh and yeah and mine was about $400 cheaper lol ... I wanted the solid fold but no way could I justify paying that much more for it being hard cover (didnt want to worry about the hinges leaking on the hard cover either)... like others have said any bed cover soft or hard will keep the honest out of the bed, the theives can get into a solid fold about as easy as a soft cover.

Hey Trucker1967 -

Does the Extang Trifecta work with the truck's OEM bed caps, or would I have to take those off?

You dont remove a thing .. take it out of the box and install ... works perfectly over the caps.
