Default bed covers

Need some help with bed covers !
I am leaning towards a pace edwards unit as they mount level with
the top of the box and their is nothing mounted to the tailgate.
I haul a snowmobile in the winter so I need the tailgate free
of any objects .
Thanks to all that respond and YES I DID A SEARCH
and found no answers.

I went with the truck covers USA. I really like it. My friend has had one for years. Nothing attaches the tail gate, it locks to its sides.

It sound like the new tonneau tri-fold would work good for you as well. It's folds in thirds to give you a 2/3rd opened bed when you want to haul something that's higher than the bed sides or you can just remove it in less than a minute and install it in about 3 minutes. I have one and like it much more than the heavy fiber glass units I've used in the past. Here's link to Auto Anything that carry them: Lund Genesis Tri-Fold Tonneau Cover, Truck Bed Covers $339 is a good price but I got mines for $299 locally. Maybe you can get one cheaper somewhere else.

I have to give a vote for an Extang Solid Fold. I love it b/c I can fold it up out of the way when needed (kids XC120 fits in the bed with it folded), take it off by myself in a flash, has not rails left on the truck, no drilling, and no latches or locks on the outside. Sure a little water comes in at the tailgate and sometimes at the front, but it is still a truck bed and not a car trunk. You will have to keep the seals lubricated with a silicone lube to prevent ice from freezing the gate shut.

Truxedo Lo-Pro is what I am enjoying. I haul weekly (quads, bikes or large diesel parts) and I love the way it rolls up when I am not using it. Plus there are support bars (that roll up with the cover) that keep it from sagging. So far, I would recommend it.
