Q: Can the snug top lock be rekeyed to match ignition?

I saw a similar question on the forum from previous but I cannot find it now. The answer given was to try a lock smith. I have tried a locksmith and he said 1) Cannot simply rekey it since the OEM ignition key will not go into the Snug top lock cylinder 2) cannot change out the snug top cylinder because he does not know where to get one that will fit the OEM ignition key and work like the snug top lock.

I have emailed snug top directly and they say that is not an option from them.

Has anyone had success at this? It just gets annoying to keep adding keys to the key chain. I would really like the ignition key to unlock every lock on the truck, OEM or aftermarket.

i dont think you could, BUT , i bet you could wire up a pop and lock up to your keyless entlry and make that work. or if you dont have keyless entry go and get a alarm and the installer could make that work for you somehow.
