Default What cover to get?

I'm gong to be looking to get a cover for my truck when I get back to the states from this deployment. I want a soft cover that I can take off easily and roll up out of the way. Most of the ones I've seen use velco to secure them which I'm not a big fan as I'm planning on having this truck for a long time and don't know how long the velcro is gonna last unless someone can convince me otherwise. Anyone have any suggestions on what to get that isn't going to break the bank at the same time?

Ive been doing this same search. I like the trifold covers and have it narrowed down to either toyotas (on sparks website) or the lund genesis trifold. Both seem sturdy yet lightweight. Check em out.

I just ordered an Extang Full Tilt.....hasn't arrived yet though. I liked it because it secures with snaps (didn't want velcro either), tilts open by the tailgate but then the cover can also be rolled up to the front to give full access to the bed. According to the website, it only weighs 30lbs and is easily removed by one person. I got mine off of ebay for $215 shipped.

I would highly recommend with Access or Truxedo. Both use velcro. Velcro has got a bad wrap because in general its not good. But the velcro on the covers is industrial hook and loop which is bit different than kids shoes. I have had few customers have any issue at all with it.

Plus the covers have a lifetime warranty so if the velcro does ever fail they will replace it for you.

Either of those covers install quickly and easily and roll completely out of the way when necessary.

Let's see, you want a soft cover, can roll it up, no Velcro. Take a look at the Extang Trifecta. Another one similiar to the Trifecta, but quality is a step down, is the Rugged Cover.

They don't "roll up" but they do "fold up".

I second the Extang Trifecta ... out of box to on the truck in under 5 minutes ... its a tri-fold cover but you can remove it in a few minutes if you need it completely off, to unfold takes about 5 seconds and they are made top rate, 10 year warranty (wide oversized bow bars, not skinny rods, bars are about 3 inches wide), nothing better in the soft tri-fold catagory imho ... does not leak a drop either ... got mine delivered for just under $300
