I guess these are my first mods on an 07 - mine for 2 years on March 31 - currently 10400 miles. Looking forward to having that "huge" trunk!!! This truck is sweet and "fast" even with the longbed's extra weight.
heck i got my truck one month after you and have put 23k on it.....and my wife got her car the same month you did and she's got 32k on it now...guess some just drive a little more than others
oh and u are going to love the trunk....got an armorlid on mine and cant imagine life w/o one now.
The install will be at Leonards in Shelby at $1100. A couple friends have had work done at this shop - one got the bedrug, undercover and step bars, for a 08 Tundra reg cab, standard bed, 5.7, 4X2 - talk about a "fast" truck !!!!!!!!!!!!! The other got the undercover and some additional chrome, etc. on an 07 TRD, 4.7, DC, 4X4.
I'm ordering today. I plan to install the undercover and nerf bars myself. Anyone have any suggestions on what nerf bars to get. I wuz planning to order from 4wheelonline and talking with them about the nerf bas cause i'm not sure way to go with them.

Shelby is a little drive... I guess it happens as I just installed a topper on a truck from forest city because I beat every price he could find between here and there...
Thats not too bad... we would get $980 installed but I have heard of people paying $1400 around for that setup so it could be worse...
Good luck! Hope it all goes on and works out well for you!

They sell the Raptor bars which are pretty good bars. But in stainless these days they are pretty much all 304 stainless with powder coated brackets. They all use the same mount points for the most part and have the same lifetime warranty. Main differences are 3 inch round vs. ovals, etc...
If you are going round 3 inch just don't pay over about $185 shipped as they can be had for that easily... Don't go over $250 shipped for oval...
About $650-$660 shipped should be the ceiling for the cover...
Thanks for the info. I am planing to order in a little bit. The price on the web says 678$ for the undercover and 199$ for the rapture nerf bars. I'm gonna call them and see what they say.
Go for the roll bak cover...I installed it myself, and it works great...watertight and everything. I ordered step tubes from toyota....230, high quality and no shipping.

X2. I saw the marketing regarding being able to stand on the cover and it's true. It's tough. I'm 6'3" 300lbs and it didn't even move when I was replacing the rear lights with leds

LOL..I thought I was bad at 235! Makes it easy to wash/wax the top of the truck while standing on it..wouldn't try that on a Bakflip!

I got my rapture nerf bars today. They look great and seem solid. Took me maybe a hour to install. Am waiting on my undercover to come in. The guy at 4wheelonline said it would be another week or so cause they were out of covers and were making more. They were the 3inch stainless bars. Hope the rest of the order comes in soon.
