Advance Cover G3 Supra

Im still in search of a reliable, true rain-resistance folding tonneau cover. Has anyone installed an Advance Cover G3 Supra. I've read on other Toyota MBs that the seals are much more reliable than the Bakflip G2, and thus completely leak free.

hmmm I am also looking into one and was looking at the Backflip G2.. Thanks for the link gives me another option to look into.

I like this one, looks solid. Im too scared of the Bak G2 and all the past issues with it. The Fold a cover G4 elite looks good as well.

The Fold-A-Cover G4 and Advance Cover G3 are both very nice covers. We sell quite a few and never get any complaints... I will post no comment on the BackFlip. I would say that either of the cover installed according to directions are about 95% water tight. I have had customer say 100% but none more than a drop or two...

The installs we have done here at the shop are between 98 and 100...

Personally I would say that the G4 Elite is slightly nicer than the Advance... But its also a little more $$$. The Advance is easier and quicker to install as they do some of the work at the factory and Fold-A-Cover sends you rails, cover and a bag of bolts and screws...

Also keep in mind that the Advance Cover requires the Deck Rail...

I can do the Fold-A-Cover G4's for $745 shipped in any bed length...

The Advance Cover is a little more complicated...lol

They charge an extra $39 to ship to a residence though they ship UPS so it shouldn't matter... So, the prices below are to a commercial address ie where you work, etc...

In way is the G4 nicer than the Advance? Does it justify paying the extra $120?

Its only nicer in simple ways. Much the same way a Lexus is nicer than a Toyota. A little more refined. Hard to describe other than to say small little things that are mostly cosmetic.

Not really worth the extra cash IMO...
