Unhappy Problem with Undercover Tonneau seal.

Purchased my Undercover tonneau back in April and love it so far. Unfortunately the large rubber front flap seal is coming unglued from the cover. It was firmly attached and sealed perfectly for the first couple of months after the install. Now there's a one foot section of the seal on the driver's side that flops loose when I open the cover. It hangs out of the bed between the rear cab wall and the bed bulkhead when I close the cover. This allows a ton of water in the bed when I'm driving in the rain. The slightest touch of the rubber seal causes it to separate even more. The glue along that seal is completely failing. I e-mailed Undercover customer service about this last night. Hope they take care of me quickly. Just wondering if anybody else is having the same problem? Pretty dissapointed that the seals are starting to fail so quickly on such an otherwise well designed product.

Glad to report that Undercover called me early the next day. They are sending me a new seal and some of the adhesive they use to attach it. Hopefully this will fix the problem as the seal is starting to separate on the passenger side now.

Received the new seal and adhesive from Undercover on Wednesday. First I removed the cover from the truck. Next I removed the old seal and noticed that hardly any adhesive was applied at the factory. Two broken, super thin 1/8" lines of contact cement were the only things holding the seal in place. I cleaned the glue area on the cover with acetone then applied a 1" wide even application of the supplied 3M automotive contact cement. I did the same to the new seal. After some drying time I applied the seal to the cover then reinstalled the whole thing. Looks like the seal should hold better this time. I honestly don't think automotive contact cement is the best solution for attaching weather stripping to ABS plastic. I'm guessing lots of people will be having problems with seals letting go in the future. A design that utilizes a mechanical attachment of the seal to the cover will work much better. A channel for part of the seal to slide into will never come loose like glue. I have to admit that I'm not very impressed with Undercover's method of attaching weather stripping and seals. Glad to see their customer service took care of me quickly.
