Default Pace Edwards Retractable bed cover

hello-
I am seriously contemplating a Pace Edwards Jack Rabbit retractable bed cover for my '01 Tundra Access Cab 4x4. I have a factory bed liner with rail sills. How many out there have this particular cover or comparable cover? Any likes\dislikes and\or recommended options\modifications to the current bed liner? thanks to all
pat

I went with Retrax because it is one big piece of Lexan in stead of individual Aluminum slats and it does not have the vinyl cover on top.And I didn't like the window shade spring type mechanism on the PE
I have seen a few PE that are hard to use on older trucks.
But the PE has a strudier lock set up than Retrax after you bolt a bar to the tailgate. And the canister is smaller on the PE.
I have an '02 the rails sills shouldn't matter.
With the Retrax you can get cut out stake pockets in the rails and a lock cover.Very desirable options to me.

Do yourself a favor, go with RETRAX. www.rolltopcover.com or www.rolltopcovers.com One is RETRAX and the other is a competitor...find the RETRAX site. Its been fantastic for me, and I checked PE before I bought it. Glad I did.

I have a 2000 Access Cab with a "ROLL N LOCK "cover in place for 2.5 years now. It has been trouble free. It has a key lock, which is quite secure. I think it ran around $750.00. The ONLY negative is that in time the aluminum ribs leave horizontal stripes on the black vinyl. It can be cleaned up, with some effort.
When I bought mine and compared it to the Pace Edwards, the" ROLL N LOCK" blew it away !! Good Luck!
