TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2007 and later Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "no lights are on stupid warning????", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
This new Tundra is the first Toyota I have ever owned. I am a bit supprised there is no ding ding if the lights are left on. I will admit I have not scoured the owners manual for information on this, but was wondering if this is common on Toyota?
So far, I'm impressed with the auto headlight feature. The system seems to be about right when deciding when to turn headlights on/off.
I just leave the headlights set to auto all the time now & don't worry about it. Using the dash-mounted setup, I turned the timeout to 0 seconds. Now, kill the truck & lights go off - one less thing to remember.
