took my crewmax to the track last weekend and we ran an 8.03 at 169 mph. It was awesome! Of course the CM towed the trailer perfect and the 70 chevelle with a 598 CI Dynaflow and 250 shot of nitrous did most of the work. I don't know what the CM will run but it sure pulls nicely. It will be lifted soon and will look as good as the Chevelle runs. good luck. aloha

My Tundra had just over 3000 km when it went in for a new engine [lifter problem] The loaner they gave me only had 500km on it & I sure noticed quite a difference in power with mine haveing more.

My friend last night, at the Samosa Raceway here in CA, ran a 16.4 at 84 mph in his 01 Tundra ExCab non TRD 2WD.

Mind you, he's running 285 tires, and a Total Chaos Long Travel kit. K&N FIPK, dump after muffler, and 140k on the odo. That truck rips.

20 inch wheels are not going to make you any faster. More weight and less rubber to eat up the pavement.

They put him up against an Evo, which I thought was hilarious, but it was purely for fun.

The Evo ran a dismal 15 seconds flat, at 99 mph. I'm sure the temp was around 75-80 degrees in the evening.

The Tundra took the evo in the first 60 feet by the way too!

I have been too the track 3 times now with my 5.7 and my personal best was a 14.56 at 97 but the elevation of the track is 300' above sea level. On most runs it is a 14.7 at 95. I can't get my 60' down below a 2.1. But I bought the truck to tow my GTO to the track but its fun to run the truck because everyone scratches there head in awe

I was at Infinion Raceway a few months ago for a Tundra test event. (I forget what the official name was) I watched em going down the strip (I think they were all double cabs - not sure if the crew max had been released yet). They ran consistent high 14's at 92-94 mph. All times were with 2 people in the cab and sometimes 3 people. They wouldn't allow you to launch etc - so I thought these were pretty impressive times with no launching etc and just "normal Joe's " driving them. They allowed each person to run the Tundra once against the competing brands in the other lane. And then drive the competing brands in the opposite lane once against the Tundra's. The Tundra's beat the others every time easily.
