Well, I finally got my '07 DC out of the body shop. As it turns out, I paid for a new quarter panel and am quite happy with it.
So once I got the truck back, I was looking forward to get my long awaited bed cover and bedrug. It had been several weeks, as the accident delayed things.
Installation of the bed cover went well, and it looks and works as it should. However, I was dissapointed to find that the bedrug SnugTop delivered was a CrewMax instead of the DC model.
I'm beginning to think SnugTop is an obnoxious company as they not only delayed the order in the first place, but then gave me the wrong product. Not to mention the guys at the shop who could have easily double-checked, but I suppose to expect that level of customer service is just delusional.
Anyway, I am happy with my new, albeit expensive, bed cover.
It's just a bummer I still can't use the bed the way I need to.
Oh, and another thing (kind of the reason for the post... other than the rant, that is ), the guy at the shop said that the bedrugs are cut to accommodate the cargo management racks, which I had to remove to fit the cover. So if I want the bedrug, which I do, I'm going to have bare metal at the top of the bed.
Has anyone had experience with this?
