I sent Amp Research an e-mail regarding their retractable sidesteps for a CrewMax about a month ago and have yet to hear back from them. I asked them if they are in the works or if one of the other packages they currently sell is adaptable to the Tundra. A little frustrating but I will try again and hopefully have a response from them soon.

Those are very cool. Does anyone know what the general cost is of those for other trucks? Also, anyone out there into mountain biking? Is this the same AMP Reasearch that use to build full suspension mountain bikes? AMP Research was one of the first super high end full suspension mountain bikes.
This is the same AMP research, if you look on their page it talks about the Mercedes Benz bikes they build. Great looking product and I'm willing to bet, quality built!
A local aftermarket shop spoke to amp research and they are not planning on making them for the 07 Tundras. They said because the Titan version did not sell well. I do not know why they lump the Tundras in with the Nissans, I'm quessing because they are imports?
If you live in a cold climate, you probably would not be happy with them. When cold and damp, they work slow or freeze up. I've LINE-X'd a few of them and that's what my customers have told me. Other than that, they are pretty neat. I think they run around $1,000.

dont you hate racial/brand profiling?? what is this world coming to?? why any aftermrkt company would offer ANYTHING for that nissan door-stop is beyond me..
AMP Research said at SEMA that they had a overwhelming requests from '07 Tundra owners and they would be available around early Jan. '08. Price is around $1200.00 for the set.

I know this has gone off topic, but I thought the original AMP research mountain bikes were famous for being underbuilt and dangerously too light weight. Hope that isn't the same for their steps.
I was wondering if any one knew where to get retractable/motorized running boards for an 07 Tundra DC. Thanks.
I just received an email back from AMP about a week ago and they confirmed that they have been designed and tested and should be available in Jan 08. I went to a local shop and he says that he can get them now as AMP put a few out to some retailers....I'll believe it when I see it though...I've got a 6" lift on my 07' CM and my wife is actually begging me to buy this mod (I know...too good to be true) because she has a hard time getting in and out of the truck.
