TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2007 and later Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "Got my new Tundra last week..!!", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
Well, I took the plunge and purchased an '07 Tundra Regular Cab / Short Bed, 5.7L V8. This truck is a monster!!! Feels like more than the advertised 381HP. I'd swear it felt like it accellerated better than my S/C 00 Tundra Access cab V8. Has anyone purchased a Carriage Works billet insert for the upper grill shell? I cant figure out how to remove that blastic plastic cover which needs to be removed for the install. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Thanks,
Congrats. Got one in white. Turn off trac control and VSC and feel the power. No mods for me yet.
Congrats! Regarding the grille - do a search under "Carriage Works" or "billet grille" because I do remember a post a couple weeks ago that covered the install of all three sections of the CW grille.
Added: Polished stainless step boards (Sparks), BakFlip tonneau, bed extender, door sill protectors, rear seat cargo net, locking gas cap.
Soon: Line-X, Carriage Works billet grille and upper grille sections
Not so soon: Aftermarket wheels and 285/18 tires
