Default Crewmax and dirt bikes???

Hi people. I do not own a new tundra yet but was wondering if anyone out there had pics of a crewmax loaded with 2 dirt bikes? I know you would have to leave the tailgate down but just want to see how far the back wheels are on the tailgate. I have got a lot of useful information from this forum (and even more useless from trolls) and want to say thanks to all that contribute and make this place cool! I bought new and am still driving my 96 tacoma 4x4 3.4 v6 sr5 with 170,000 miles on it so a new truck would be nice.

thanks,

Z

I haven't seen a member post a pic like you have requested yet.

Here is 2 in my DC, imagine the back tires 1 foot further back, about mid gate.

Your set up looks nice. I am still trying to decide between dc and crewmax so thanks for the pic!! Keep the rubber side down.

Here is mine in my DC. Just get the bed extender and it works great. I sometimes put 3 full size bike and 1 pit bike plus gear in mine.

I bought a crewmax, specifically to pull a toy hauler and to also make runs to the local tracks with the bike in the back. Although I haven't put my bike in the bed yet, it should have NO problem.

My bike is 7' long from the tip of the front tire, to the tip of the rear tire (CRF450). The bed is 5.5', plus the tailgate. The overall length just needs to be long enough for the center of the tire to be planted on the tailgate. Sure, it'll be on top of the tailgate...but that doesn't bother me.

You'll be fine. Sorry I don't have any pix for you. If I have time to load it today, I'll snap a picture for you.

Gary

be careful if you decide to put a full size bike in a crewmax though. A long harley or sportbike would be near the end of the tailgate.
