Here's my DCLB with some Camburgs adjusted to 3" lift (5cm threads exposed) and UCAs. Truck also has Toytec 1.5" blocks in the rear (hurry up Deaver you slackers). It really wasn't that bad to install and the first thing I did was launch the truck off some RR tracks, landed like a caddy. Can't wait to get 'er to the desert and dunes. Let me know what you think.
FYI tires are 285/75-18 toyos on stock alloys painted black.
Apparently I offended some with my last post about big bolt on lifts and their usefulness. For that I'm sorry.
Tom

Looks good!
Are the stock wheels powder coated or just painted? I plan to get mine stocks powder coated black in a few weeks with some mud terrains for deer season.

Just painted for now, didn't know how i'd like them. I'll get em coated later and grill, bumpers, and badges to match.

May I ask how much your set up costs? ALso, what are Deavers in particular?
I'm familiar with big brand suspension lifts but had never heard of Camburgs until this forum. Also, will the Deavers take out the 1.5" body in the back?
-rockstate
$1275 for upper control arms and coil overs.
$400 for take off factory wheels (mine were steel)
$100 paint for wheels
$1200 tires.
$100 for toytec blocks, u-bolts, and 1 inch front diff drop. (debating whether to install diff drop, CV angles aren't really that bad and drop will change front univ joint angle for the worse)
Deavers are leaf springs, they will replace my stock springs and blocks with just springs that are more 'compliant' off road. some decent shocks need to accompany these so we'll see what shows up bolt-on before i have to hack mounts for some rear SAW race runners. BTW the camburgs ARE just SAW race runners, they say so right on the shock (donahoe are the same or close).
taking out body in the back is an unfamiliar term to me? if you mean body lift, the truck has none, only suspension block between axle and springs, which i frown upon (but these are bad circumstances and i have no choice right now)

Yeah I meant body lift. I personally don't like them because I had one on my last Expedition. Looked good but handled worse. Sounds like you're going the right route by taking out that block (body lift in my lingo for SUVs and such).
Can't wait to see the finished product!

body lifts are blocks too, they just go between frame and body. these blocks go between axle and springs, therefore raising the frame and body. not classified as body lift and will work okay for many situations, just not mine. suspension blocks kept to a minimum, like less than 2 inch, are MUCH better than a body lift IMHO.
