Nice times sfz989! I cant wait to get mine out now. Faster than I thought I figured 14.3 or so. Im hoping I can get mine out in the next week or two. Maybe we can get into the high 13s in the winter time. Maybe even before that. Keep us posted if you are still going to put exhaust on and a CAI.
I have a DC 5.7 Timberland Mica 4x4 with TRD. Yesterday a buddy of mine wanted to line up his 06 Z71 with a superchip and cold air induction. I hesitated because we are both forty. But to make a long story short I out ran him so bad it was embarrasing. I would guess about 200ft in maybe a quarter. I guess he forgot I traded in one just like his on the Toy.

I had a similar run in with a friend of mine. It was so bad any onlookers wouldn't even know we were racing. No joke 4-5 cars before I even hit 60
yea go for it you only live once right Im going to do the same as you CAI and exhaust tell me how the system fits on the regular cab when you get it installed. did you send back original exhaust and did you find another one?

I sent back the universal kit and they are in the process of developing a kit that will bolt on, no cutting required. I'll keep ya updated.
Did you do any of the free mods mentioned on this site before?
Such as removing the carbon filter in the intake or have you
thought about removing your catalytic converter.

Those are some great times. Congrats.
Thank you sir. I haven't removed the carbon filter lid, have volant intake setting on the floor next to me right now. The cats will stay on until I get the supercharger most likely.
hey those are great times man! As for the weight reduction and traction off the line, I would maybee try removing the front sway bar if its easily accesible? It will help plant the rear tires off the line, plus on that truck I imagine its pretty hefty, maybee 40-50#'s off the nose which is fairly substantial. One thing though, the truck will definitely not handle the same in terms of body roll. Good times though, makes me want to get rid of my 07 taco!?
Well I installed the volant intake this morning, didn't go as smothly as I'd hope but I got it done. Took me an hour and a half....
Anyways, it sounds really good, almost like I have an exhaust system under my hood lol, it's quite at idle and normal driving but if you get in it it starts to rumble at you. Did a comparsion 0-100mph with my old stock run. It appears I may have lost a tenth from 0-60 but gained 2-3 tenths less from 0-100. Guess only the quarter mile will tell the truth. I'll be going again as so as JBA gets my damn exhaust back to me
Are you going to take it to the track before the exhaust is on and run it with the intake only? Also how much did you pay for the exhaust. Is it a direct bolt on.

I wanted to go after I had both on but if it takes JBA too long I'll have to go without them. It is a bolt on kit, no cutting required. Part number is 40-9009

Hey KB, I thought that was you. I see you get around yourself lol
I'm so close to 13s I can taste it! It gets expensive going to the track though, 100 miles one way and $20 entry fee, well that expensive to me right now

lol yeah I joined TS a couple months ago because I wanted to see how things turn out for you guys performance wise! It's always fun to have friendly competition.
100 miles holy moly! What track do you go to there in LA? Is it NPR?

Cool, nope I go to Red River Raceway in Gilliam, LA. It's right above Shreveport if your familiar with the area. They have a nice 1/4 track up there.
You know that because you’re so close to 13 second quarter mile times that it’s going to cost you some money now. It’s like a disease that just eats up your wallet. Awesome run!
