Default LHD to RHD Convertion

i first want to say that this is my first post in here, but i was a reader for a while now.

after researching for a while now i decided to purchase an 07 Tundra and ship it in europe next year.

Do you know any company in United States that they convert Left Hand Drive cars to Right Hand Drive?

thanks

Hopefully the parking isn't as cramped as it is elsewhere in Europe.

Maybe you could rent out the back of your truck as a parking space for a Smart car.

hahahahahah

In Cyprus believe it or not we have a huge number of trucks because diesel used to be very cheap. Over there Toyota offers the Hilux with the 2.5 and 3.0 TDI and they can actually support me if i take the tundra over there.

But it needs to be Right Hand Drive for the Road Transport to give me a registration.

It would probably be astronomically expensive to convert it to RHD. Why not just purchase one destined for a market with RHD? I am sure that the Tundra will be, if it isn't already, available for the UK, Australian, S. African or Japanese markets. Buy one in one of those markets and ship it to Cyprus.

Why not just keep it LHD and apply for an exemption? That would save you a whole boatload of money!

The tundra is build and made only for USA.

I can only take it as a LHD only if i stayed for at list 5 years in US without studing.

Go figure....

As there is no RHD tundras converting it to RHD and having it look the same as factory would be near imposible. If you want a bland dash, pedals, wheel, ect and have $10k-$40k extra to spend you could do it. you got to rewire the ECU harness and all kinds of other work....

Just switching a car that is LHD to RHD that has a RHD model to steal parts from is a pain.

Well, you could use one of these and set the controls to transport a mirror image of your truck. All of the dials would read in reverse and who knows what the nav would display but other than that, I'm thinking it would be driveable.

Just make sure you don't use one of those defective transporters that splits off an evil twin of the Tundra with all of the chrome being black and blacked-out windows. On second thought, just give it to me, I'll take it - horns and all.
