Lightbulb programmer - hypertec, edge, ETC.

Im sure that this has been discussed but I searched and cant find anything about it. Do any of these companies make a programmer for the new 5.7L?
Does anybody know if any of these companies are currently working on this product? I am a really big fan of computer programmers! i hope they make something if not

Nobody makes them as of now. I wish they would too but probably will be a while. Well have to wait and see. I dont think they even made one for the 1st generation tundra.

Do a search for my posts, and theres a link I made to Diablosports forum in requesting one. Add to the list of interested people, as we've only had a handful say theyd take one so far.

I've had 2 programmers in my life... 1 Bullydog (diesel), 1 Hypertech (gas).

My opinion from the whole experience, but just my opinion:

Diesel programers = The Bomb, insane power gains
    Gas programmers = Barely noticeable

Maybe I just had a bad experience though, so I'd love to hear opinions from other gassers that have used 'em.

Hypertech is the worst company to get a programmer from IMO. They are like Gibson exhaust systems, very generic and just slapped on w/ barely making adjustments between vehicles to maximize profit.

Gas programmers from companies who actually do research and attempt to remove things like tq management and what not show good gains (Superchips, Diablosport, etc.). Even if the dyno numbers are under 10rwhp difference, the driveability of a post programmed gas truck w/ tm (etc.) removed is very noticeable vs. a stock setup.

Jet is about the only company worse than Hypertech

Id avoid them like the plague, unless you want a nice $280 paper weight

I had a superchips for my 02 dodge with a 360. It worked great. Noticed power change at all three settings. Also nice to check for codes when needed.

TS has a group buy in progress right now for the unichip. I think you may still have time to get in on the deal. The chip is going to be released toward the end of this month. GB price is $599, reduced from well over $700 retail.
