Within the last 2 weeks my driver seat makes a "popping" noise when putting slight pressure on the seat while driving. Its coming from the lower left area. Its driving me crazy, and I'm about take it in to service. (bought the truck about 1 month ago)

Thank god I am not crazy....Someone has the same problem as me. My 07 DC 4x4 is 3 weeks old and I have the same problem. Accelerating or slowing down there is a pop noise. I did not really hear it as I have the tunes cranked up, but when the wife and child are in the car you hear it and it is annoying....I just need to make time to go to the shop to have it checked out. I looked under the seat, but you have to be sitting in the seat to have the right weight on the right part. Let me know if you hear anything else on this problem.
I would assume you would have to make sure the (bench seat) is adjusted in equally on both sides of the seats. Otherwise, one side is clicked in properly while the "other" side is not securely pop into place. That's always a case with bench seats. I fortunately got the bucket seats. Don't like the gear shifter being on the steering column. Although, the bench seat holds more passengers.

I have that problem as well, but the only time it does it is when I getting out of the truck and sliding off the seat. I always try to put one foot on my step bar to keep it form happening.
Same problem here... Just started noticing it in the past few days. Does it when Im breaking or taking off. Bench cloth seats/manual in a double cab. Oil change coming, Im also going to have them look.
I hear it when I get in and out when my *** is on that particular corner. I ain't that heavy. My side runner steps help out some when stepping in and sitting.
I can live with it. It sounds like a shifting spring or something.

Had my 07 Tundra DC 4x4 at the dealer today. He could hear the popping noise but could not find a cause. Went out and checked another new Tundra to see if it was something that they all did....I said probably not. Long to short, he tried to warrenty and get me a new seat but toyota technical told him to take the seat appart so now I have a rental car and they are taking my seat apart.
i just got my 07 tundra dc 4x4 back too. they told me when the knob it raised too high (the far forward adjustment knob) there is too much play. i can grab the corner of the seat and replicate the popping. when it is fully down the noise almost goes away. we have to get more tundras in the shop so they will put out a tsb for this. i got nothing solved
