Man that does look a lot better! I don't care for the big chrome front end much either. I hope Toyota pulls through and makes all them in all the colors!
Cool, truck looks great As for de-badging emblems, you can also used the hair dryer and some dental floss or fishing line behind the emblem to sort of saw through the adhesive. This work great and I've done it alot of time on cars. Just thought I'd throw in my $0.02
Actualy I am looking for just handles now but I wanted to keep my stock ones for now, My plan is to have the black ones color matched to the truck but not sure how well that work so didn't want to trade out my chrome ones for now sorry, But if anyone that has already upgraded there black ones to chrome want to sell me there black ones cheap shot me a PM.
I also don't mind the mirrors to much right now but I can always change my mind in the future.
Oh yeah I tinted my front windows this weekend with a kit from the same guy on ebay I got my clear bra from, got to say the fit was good and worth the $15.00 I think. I get some pics up later tonight, since I know thats what everyone likes around here....
No clear bra material on the grill, They didn't have that as part of the kit I got but everything else up front is covered for now. I figured its not to badly priced to just get a replacement or get this re-painted if it ever gets real bad. I guess I could also order up some material thats not pre-cut and make my own kit but not sure if its worth that much work.
You have got to be the only person on the planet who successfully did his own tint. Anyone else I know who tried it turned into a complete cluster f***, bubbles everywhere.

when i had my Tundra clearbra'd i was asked if i wanted the chrome grill covered -- they did, however, recommend not covering the chrome due to inconsistencies in adherance. so i assume a pre-cut grill piece is available. mods look great, btw

Well I got a price of 80 - 150 to do it at the local shop and now that they come precut and the fit dead on pretty much, almost easy to do now with out messing up to bad. Secret is lots of solution so no sticking till your ready. I have other things to spend my money on so I figured I give it a try for small costs and it also did helps the windows on the Tundra are pretty darn flat so that made it easier too.
Oh I also love doing my own DIY projects when I can.

Sure they were not going to hand cut the grill piece ? I may msg the guy I got my from and see if he can cut it anyways, never know if you don't ask.
Oh and has anyone else notice you can't do multi quote now for some reason.

I just completely de-badged my truck this weekend (except for the Toyota symbol in the front grille) and it looks tits! I even took off the TRD stickers. Now nobody will even know what options I have on there. Anyways, I had no luck trying to de-badge the truck using dental floss. It kept breaking so I used some fishing line. That worked much better. As for the de-greaser to get the glue off, I used some kind of Citrus de-greaser. I don't know what kind it is but it was in a yellow spray can and it worked wonders.
