What amazes me is that in almost all the accident photos of the 07 tundra (even in the fire pics), the side windows are intact. Is this because of the curtain air bags protecting them (and the occupants) form the occupant's heads/shoulders from hitting them? Or am I mistaken and its something else?

Carlc - Guess I didn't say it before, but I sure am sorry to see your truck take the beating. Just remember though, it's just a truck, it can be fixed, and be glad no one was between the two beasts.
