Can it be done? Im getting a tundra that has the tow mirrors, but i dont like how big they look and want to put the smaller ones on. Can it be done? i dont care if i lose the heated windows feature, its warm where i live.

It can and has been done many times, without lose of your features.

check in the classified section and create your own post. I swaped my tow mirrors out two weeks after I bought the truck. I did loose my heated mirror function as the truck my mirrors came off of did not have the function. If you want to wait for the right trade you can get the heated mirrors. I really do not think I am going to miss the heated function here in savannah any more than you in S.C.

Call your dealer. Many buyers DO want the tow mirrors. My crewmax came with them, and I didn't want them either. When I phoned the dealer about getting some standard mirrors, he hooked me up with a guy with the mirrors I wanted, who wanted tow mirrors. He brought his truck in, and service swapped the mirrors out in about 15 minutes, before I even took delivery.
