P.S. If you replaced your tailgate with a Dodge Ram tailgate you would not have tor worry about weight or adding wood. I had my brother in law ride his ATV in the back of my Ram and he weighs 350lbs and the ATV weighs 700lbs and I never gave it a second thought.
The tail gate and the engine in the Ram sure are nice...too bad they welded a Coke can in between the two (I had an '04 305/555 6 sp. manual and 315 BFG's).
My God. It looks like it's big enough to tow the Tundra home if it breaks down.
Wouldn't it been easier to just buy a Tacoma for fun
Nice toy,
Bob
Thats funny because I've actually seen people being towed out with this quad. I hate to brag, but this ATV is the biggest baddest 800 out there. It has a V twin fuel injected engine that puts out way more HP than the closest competitor.

Wow, you went all fancy with the metal edge on the plywood. So did you use a treated plywood? Guess it won't matter that much in Tucson.
I see you put a piece of plywood at the bulkhead. Not a bad idea. I use two tie downs from the front of the 4 wheeler to the back corners of the bed to hold the 4 wheeler a few inches away from the bulk head. I guess either way works.
It actually works to. I've popped the bulkhead a couple of times good and have not bent it yet with the plywood. That's saying a lot when your talking about close to a 1000 pounds.
