Don't let me tell you how to interpret the gender of vehicles (since it seems you've already got it all figured out), but it seems to me it's actually more manly to buy what you want, regardless of what others think.
I think you meant "misogynistic"!
Misogyny (IPA: /mɪˈsɒʤəˌni/) is hatred or strong prejudice against women; an antonym of philogyny. Although misogyny is sometimes confused with misanthropy, the terms are not interchangeable, for the latter refers more generally to the hatred of humanity. A concept related to misogyny is gynephobia, the fear of women, but not necessarily hatred of them.
Compared with anti-woman sexism or misandry (hatred, strong prejudice against men), misogyny is termed by most feminist theories as a political ideology like racism and antisemitism that justifies and maintains the subordination of women to men.
And to top it off, racism is only skin deep! But driving BROKBACK is eternal!

Yea, they didn't make the RIDGE LINE aka BROKEBACK when the wife went shopping for her new girl truck!
Funny, but I thought I saw your testicles on ebay right next to your brain. If you cannot engage in a civil discussion, or say something online you wouldn't say to someone's face, why say it here? No need to be rude, or display homophobic tendencies by putting unnecessary gender identifications on vehicles. Your "masculine" vehicles are no more so, then some other car is feminine.
Sure the Ridgeline isn't the looker an Aston Martin DB5 is, nor the raw experience of an Ariel Atom. It wasn't meant to be.
If you feel threatened enough by a vehicle to say such disgusting things (BROKEBACK, etc.), I'd hate to hear what you'd say to your own family.

Are you kidding me? You idiots come on a board called THE TOYOTA TUNDRA SOLUTIONS FORUM and want to give us a hard time for not endorsing your justification for buying a vehicle?! AMERICA may have gone the way of POLITICAL CORRECTNESS to the point of the majority being ostracized! But I have not! I am against illegal aliens invading my country! I am against China taking over as the major supplier of manufactured goods to the USA! And I am against a minority trying to bully the majority in the name of being accommodating, and moraly, and intellectually appealing! Showing my willingness to accept other at the cost of my, and my families constitution will never be on my keyboard! ......... pink punk!
Wow! All of this just because a guy didn't like the ride of his truck and bought another. To me the ride is simply wonderful. Yes, there are some lanes on some freeways that are horrible. They make my truck bounce around like crazy. But 85 to 90% of the time I love the way it rides. Hondas are great vehicles, not the most powerful but they try to get the best mpg possible and you can't do that with a V8. I feel sorry for the guy cause he must have taken a beating on the deal. Hope he's happy.

I may've sold/traded in my Tundra, but that does not change how I feel about the vehicle. Nor does it change about some of the complaints, or quibbles, with the Ridgeline. Both are far from perfect vehicles overall, but it is all a matter of what is PERFECT for that person. The more I drive the Ridgeline, the more I realize, "damn. This vehicle really does fit me, and my needs!" I'm also a proud member of the Ridgeline Owner's Club and I even welcome you to share your feelings there with the fellow members. I can guarantee you, even with your adamant opinion, we do not try (as a whole now) to treat people disrespectfully there.
It is great you can pull the patriotism, pro-American card. I pull the same card too and apparently we both have some very similar political beliefs. Maybe we can settle this like gentlemen and agree to disagree?
...
Oh, as for the pink punk. Um, I outgrew my last good pink shirt when I was 18 (damn greasy food in college, waist band expansion, etc, etc.) and I've never tried to actively be a punk nor really enjoy punk music.

I cross shopped the Ridgeline at lot when I was looking for my CrewMax. Standard AWD, comfortable cabin, great nav system, trunk, Honda powertrain, Standard XM (RTL), sunroof, and the great road handling capabilities of the vehicle are amazing.
In saying that, the Tundra is a little overkill for me, but I wanted to leave my options open. The 5k towing limit bothered me (i'm going to own this truck for a while), bed that scratches, Honda's typical rattles problems in the cabin, lack of power, and the real kicker....same gas mileage.
To the OP, you have a great truck. I consider this a medium duty truck and it is the best out there. Glad you found the vehicle you need, just sad that you had to take the 4k wash to get the right vehicle.

My spelling error obviously wasn't grevious enough to hamper understanding, since you figured it out
On a lighter note, I never knew about gynephobia! You learn something new every day.

I have driven 1500 silverados and gmc's was wandering has anyone drove a 08' denali?? I was thinking about test driving one tomorrow night while the wifes at work
Well, then we'd better get together and educate Honda, IIHS, EPA, and other automotive regulatory groups to this grievous error! Apparently they have NO idea as to the error and need to be told it isn't a truck, cannot tow, cannot hold anything in its bed nor can it secure things in its revolutionary trunk. We really need to tell them about that error, and that Honda LIED to them about it being a truck.
Last time I checked, a Tahoe can tow, You can put just as much crap in a Tahoe as you can a Ridgeline. Like I said, a SUV with an open rear end.

Umm... yeah...
A fullsized SUV versus a midsized truck? How about this for a comparison. Lets put the Tacoma which can tow 6000 pounds, versus the Ridgeline's 5000 pounds. Or the Dodge Dakota that can tow 7000 pounds. Both can tow and haul more in the bed, but are they just as versatile? Or better yet, compare it against other mid-sized SUVs. Hmm. That's not a bad idea.
It does have SUV characteristics, and even is assembled on the Odyssey assembly line. It shares similar characteristics, but has it's own frame that the body-on-frame mounts too. The build is a hybridization of a truck and car trying to combine the best of both worlds. You hit the nail on the head calling it a SUV with an open rear end. But then again if you check the lineage of our modern trucks you might be surprised as to where they came from, and what they were based on.
I don't know why you are being given such a hard time. You need to find what works for you. My only real issue with the Ridgeline was that I wanted a more capable off road vehicle and would have gear in the bed at all times which would make changing a flat tire a nightmare. But Hondas are well engineered, well built vehicles. Both of my daughters have Honda Civics that have gone over 100k thus far with only scheduled maintenance and tires.
I think part of the deal is.........it is just a vehicle ......but it seems a lot of folks get their personal identity tied up in a pile of sheet metal, etc. You switched to something that better met YOUR needs. What is wrong with that? As a Tundra owner, it is good to hear pros and cons which may help someone considering making a purchase.
BTW, I am very happy with my Tundra but wish there was a Tacoma sized vehicle that was capable off road and got really great fuel economy on the highway..........but I gave up on that one for now.
