Default Installed Undercover and Luverne Running Boards Today!

Recieved both yesterday and spent the morning installing and freezing in the hurricane winds....

The Luverne running boards were a snap to put in and look great! The chrome really makes the truck pop. I defintely lost ground clearance but I don't drive anywhere where I would actually need it so whatever.

The tonneau cover was a bitch to install. I didn't follow the instructions and paid for it with my time (and patience). If you install one make sure you use a tape measure or else you're going to be readjusting...and readjusting....

Here are the pics.

Good choices; that is what I went with..I concur with the undercover being a PITA to install and mine squeaks..or at least I think it is..it is driving me crazy..

You will need to re-tighten the running boards after a while, I installed them about 2 months ago and when I was under there changing the oil I checkd and all of them needed snugging.

Yeah I noticed that when I drive over speed bumps the cover bounces pretty hard. I imagine that if you took it off road or drove really aggressively it would fly open if not locked.

I have the Undercover and when it was first installed it squeaked real bad but only when it was wet. I took it back to the parts dealer and they confirmed with Undercover that the squeak was an issue. They lengthened the rubber rain strip on the front when they redesigned the hinge. The dealer took the cover off, trimmed a little off of the rain strip and adjusted the the cover so that the rubber strip does not touch the cab and I have not had a problem since.

Looks great. Is it pretty easy for one guy to remove the cover?
