Default '07 Tundra (+)s & (-)s

The pluses far outweigh the minuses so far, friends & neighbors, but there were two items my 2000 Tundra had this new TRD doesn't- fender flares and locking gas cap.

Fender flares- I put on those excellent Lund items.
Locking gas cap- I have no idea where I am to get one or what variations are available. Any ideas?

(It seems to be, with gas prices going out of sight, Toyota would have NOT dropped the locking fuel flap. )

Fender flares are a regional option but you can get them from Sparks painted for $403. As for the gas flap, I'm sure Billet will have a chrome locker soon.

That $403 price is very reasonable as I paid more than that for plain, ole, black.

Billet chrome locker--- has a nice ring to it.

Yeah Sparks is the devil! I just bought mine and a security system.

Here's locking gas covers if you like chrome:

Check this customer's response: "AMI Fuel Door for the 2007 Tundra

Posted on 11/01/2007 by michael w. (El Paso, TX)

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.

"Quality manufacturing and easy 15 minute installation process. I would recommend that the manufacturer provide slightly larger (approx 1/8" longer spacers for the hinge portion side of the door because there is a slight variance with the door not being flush with the vehicle. Please don't get me wrong, it looks great but I am also anal when it comes to perfection.""

I noticed that panel curvature and wondered what it will all come to with that bezel. I'll be calling the company to get their 'take' on that.

Thanks for the help!
