Yes, I tested it before and the alarm went off after I opened the door. Now it goes off from the Mic also. I didn't pay any extra for an alarm. I'll have to check the build sheet but I think it is standard on the Limited. I also didn't have to "program" anything. I Just plugged the GBS in and it works.

Ok, on your truck, was the jumper already installed by the fuses, or was it in the storage slot in the fuse box under the hood.......

everyone chime in and tell me where their short-jumper was located at the time of the install.

Ok, we are back with our conclusions................

You must have the factory THEFT DETERENT SYSTEM on the truck for this to work.

Toyota had the discription wrong on the part that we have sold, The part that everyone has bought is just the glass break sensor, no RS3200 system. We have contacted Toyota and they are calling Fuji-whoever (don't know the exact name-they make the darn things for Toyota) to find out why there isn't a RS3200 add on part to use this with.

So, that answers Stanton49's ?, No there isn't one for it ..........

But Ken just came in and has a part number BUT - it isn't available. Per the sales manager, ALL of the Limited's "should" have the alarm on it already, BUT he can't say if ALL of them DO.

SO, we have two options, everyone that got the RS3200+GBS and you do not have the factory alarm,(lock yourself in with the GBS system unplugged, wait a few minutes and open the door to see if your horn wakes the neighbors-you must do this @ 3 am for it to have the desired effect) can wait for a little while and get the main part to go with this- no pricing yet and no time frame- or you can remove the units and repackage them in the original box(you do still have it, don't you?) and email us and we will have them picked up and give you a full refund.

You can be relieved that we have chewed the TRD dudes arm off on this, we used a real bat with the threats this time .....j/k...... but they know we are really p****** off at them with this.

Only the Limited trucks have the factory alarm, the SR5's do not. as best we can tell.

Haven't installed mine yet, but my jumper pin is in the jumper spot, NOT the jumper storage area above the extra fuses. SR5 CrewMax model. I saw that it says when installing to put it in there for the checks, but then to take it out and "store" it.

Most likely you do not have the alarm system installed from the factory, lock yourself in and wait a whole minute and then open the soor from the inside, most likely nothing will happen, if it goes crazy then you got the alarm. But from what i have been hearing, if the jumper is in the jumper spot and not the storage hole, then no alarm.

So with the alarm it is plug and go for the GBS or will it still need to be activated with the scan tool? I have a Limited with remote keyless entry and the Toyota Auto Alarm sticker on the front windows.

Thanks for the hard work Mark! If you get an idea on the RS3200 Availibility please let us know.

I would like to know if the system is the same for all Toyotas because there are several for sale out there already, but listed for other Toyota models?

as far as we can tell, the systems are vehicle specific, the add on part was suppose to be available when the trucks were rolled out for sale but it doen't "exist" now for some reason.
it shouldn't be very long at all, but we don't know the exact time frame on it.

Correct, it was like that from the factory. I'll move it back per the directions after I install.

I'll verify that I have an alarm tonight when the wife gets home with the truck.
