Default Questions about XOVision 2.5" LCD Monitor/backup Camera

I bought one of those Walmart backup cameras that I've been reading about from some of the threads on this forum, XOVision 2.5" LCD Monitor w/ Back-Up Camera - Wal-Mart and was wondering if someone could tell me where to splice into which wire (color)/stripe etc. when wiring the black and red wires for the camera that fits on the license plate frame. I was wondering if I could tap into the wires in the overhead console (where the factory/Toyota back up camera monitor plugs in for power) for the monitors power. I could then put the 2.5" monitor in the front overhead compartment. (where I now have my garage door opener). Anyone out there done this? This maybe a classic "You get what you pay for!"

Not sure if this will help you any, but I just installed the VR3 (from Wal-Mart $88). Tied the camera into the wires going into the back up light, and mounted the moniter in the first overhead bin. As in previous post, there are 6 screws holding the overhead up, two are behind the rear light (which pops off and the aluminum reflector pops off). Once down, you can easily see where to tie into the existing wiring. This was in a 5.7 DC. Hope this helps....
