Default Black Westin 4" Oval Nerf Bars installed w/ pics

After much debate, I decided to go with these bars. I was a little nervous because I couldn't find any good pictures of these bars, in black, installed on a 2007 Tundra. Most important, I was also looking for a black nerf bar with a lifetime warranty. Almost all the black bars I found were powder coated steel, with a 5 yr warranty, which means they're guaranteed to rust. The Westin Ovals are powder coated aluminum, lifetime warranty, which at first I thought would have some flex to them, but these are rock solid. Very easy to install, like most other bars, about 1 hr. The wider step is nicer than the standard 3in bars too, IMO. I got these from SVCustoms.com - vent visors - bug shields - nerf bars - truck accessories on sale delivered to my door for $288.73. Anyway, the bars get , definitely worth the $$$. I hope this helps those looking for a similiar nerf bar.

Hey Supersoz,

Just what I was looking for and they have it for a regular cab too. I just wanted to know how much these stick out from the door sil? Enough to use when getting out too? Will it stop door dings too? Thanks for the link and pic.

They almost fully stick out past the door sill, so you can definitely use them to get out.

They will stop door dings from smaller cars, lower to the ground, but not from other trucks and SUV's. I guess it really depends on the type of door. I try to avoid parking near other cars anyway. I'll try to get a pic.

Thanks for the pics! It looks great. I also got to see what my truck would look like without badges. I like.

Thanks.

Your welcome.
I really like the debadged look more and more. I had planned on painting the TUNDRA door badges glossy black and reapplying them. In fact, they are painted and sitting on my work bench, but I still can't decide if I like that look or not. Plus, washing and waxing is much easier without them.
