This is a discussion thread titled "Spray bed liners", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
Hey guys. I just bought a 4x2 double cab sr5-radiant red. love it. Curious as to which spray bed liner to go with and the cost. I was just quoted 389 for a rhino-I know there is line-x and tuff also. any comments would be great. Thanks.

Three previous trucks and three different spray ins....
Had Speedliner... very tough material, similar consistency to Line-x. Down side to Speedliner, it is a cold application process and the truck has to dry about 24 hours at the shop.
Had Rhino.... most slip resistant, but softest material. Color seemed to fade with time.
Had Line-x.... toughest (IMO) and hot process so it dries quickly. In my area it is the most expensive.
Also, my dad had a Reflex liner done by local GMC store. Very similar to Rhino, but much better price.
In my opinion, the most important aspect is the job done by the installer of ANY brand. Look at all the installers' work and pick whatever suits your budget and tastes.
Good luck.

I have Rhino also. This is my 2nd truck with Rhino - I wouldn't be without it. With the thin sheet metal in our beds it sure helps protect them. Do a search, there are a ton of threads on this forum on spray in bed liners. By the way, that's not a bad price. Which ever brand you decide on, make sure you see some of the work from that particular supplier. I've seen some really nastey jobs. In fact there are a few photos out on this forum of botched bed liners. Do your homework and you won't be sorry you had it done. They are great.

With that said, I love my Rhino. I beat the sh** out of it the past 3 days, literally. I had a pallet of concrete with 2000 lbs on it "slide" with the help of the forklift and it didn't do any damage. I dropped 200lb rocks in the back of it today and it didn't dent (Thank God). I managed to chip it once by throwing a shovel at the bulkhead, completely accidental. My objective was to get it to stay up in the dirt in the bed... but I missed.
If you look on the bulkhead in the middle where that big hole is for the rail system then look down and to the right about 4-5" to where it's still flat you will see that white mark that looks sorta like an upside down V. That is where I chipped it haha.
Edit: I had time tonight once I dropped those rocks off to clean it out, so I'll take a pic of how it looks after I did all that stuff. It will be a bit scratched up but not too bad I hope. I did drop set those rocks on the tailgate, which were a b*tch for the biggest two, and it didn't dent the tailgate surprisingly. Also, it does fade a little bit but it adds characteristic. My dealer said that it shouldn't have faded and they are offering to respray it for me for free. I haven't yet decidd whether or not I will take them up on that offer. With that said, I love it and doubt I'd go the Line-x route since it's so great for everyday useage and still durable enough to beat the living cr*p out of it.

Haha close, I actually had somebody ELSE hold a gun to his head.
Let's just say, I know somebody in the car dealership business so he hooked me up with this. I wish I woulda taken the discount on the exhaust instead, but oh well. I saved like 200 frosties on the Rhino anyway
Yall are great. Good info. So it looks like I can expect to pay around 400 according to yalls info (except for the guy who paid 250). It appears that Rhino is softer, which I may like better since I'm not throwing huge boulders back there...lol....
