Default Mirror Adjustment Button

Just a question, all of my buttons light up at night except the mirror adjustment. Is this one supposed to light up? Has anyone noticed this?

Thanks

Mine doesn't light up, wish it did along with the window switches, got used to everything being lit up in the wife's Expedition.

Mine does not light up either. Funny that I should read this today because it was just yesterday that one of my coworkers borrowed my truck and getting into it last evening I needed to readjust my mirrors and fumbled to find the switch. The switch (and like wacked said) the window switches should also be lit up. Also, on a little pet peeve note...why in my $43,000 Tundra isn't my driver's window power down AND UP? and why in some much cheaper vehicles are the driver AND FRONT PASSENGER windows auto? Sorry, while we were on the topic of switches...I just had to go there...

I don't believe any new window switch powers up. When they went to the switch you have to pull up to go up for child safty they droped the power up .

CWIT-The 06 Honda Civic that I just traded for my 07 Super White CrewMax did in fact have auto down and up on the driver's door.

I also found the lack of backlighting on the mirror switches to be a bit chintzty!

Did I mention I JUST (2 days ago) got a new Tundra?!! NEWBIE!!!!

I've had two Avalanches, 1 Sierra Z-71, 1 Silverado Z-71, 1 Tahoe and 1 Sierra Denali, and although had PERFECT reliability out of all of them, I finally caved and bought a Toyota primarily due to re-sale. I'm lovin' it so far, and here are the details:
07 Super White Crew Max, 2WD, 5.7, TRD, SR5 + leather. Looking to level or lift it in the next few weeks.

My 2000 Cadillac and all Cads Ive driven only power down. Imagine, if a child stuck his arm out the window at the time you hit the power UP switch. There is no sensor telling the window it has an obsticle, so it will just keep rising. Most cars don't use power up because it is such a safty issue. If I had one that did, I'd defeat it.

It is a shame that the mirror switch doesn't light up I could care less about the window switches. I can see the drivers switch and the rest are relative to that!

I have an '05 Sequoia that has power up/down on both driver and passenger windows in front.

I do find it odd that an SR5 Sequoia has this feature and a Limited Tundra does not.

They could have at least put the amber/orange LEDs like the ones that light up the center console near the door handles and light up the area where all the window switches are.

I drove a 2007 (used) Avalon which had auto-down and auto-up feature for both driver and front passenger. And, keep in mind that the Luxury Division (Lexus) has auto-down and auto-up for all windows. I know I didn't buy a Lexus, but they borrow a lot of the features in my Tundra from Lexus (navigation system; power folding mirrors switches are straight out of the LX 470, the adjustment of the leg support is from Lexus). I just think it's one of those little things they just overlooked. I'm pretty sure no car company has nailed it right on the head in the first year of a totally newly redesigned model. I'm sure when I trade up in 2010 they'll have worked out most of my little complaints...

my 07 g35 has one touch up and down for all 4 windows. I really wanted that feature with a truck, but I guess it is an unreasonable request. It is a truck.......*shrug*

You may want to check out the switches on the 08 LC. It looks like the switches will switch right over, but I'm unsure whether its auto up/down/lighted for all 4.
