................how many miles did your truck have when you first took it to the strip?

I had about 1500 miles I beilieve. I only have 2700 on it now. Had my truck for 4 months i only drive it twice a week.May still need to break it in before I go out again. Have you ran your tundra yet? Do you plan on it

The first time I had around 5k on it. If you want it to perform well, drive it hard everyday. The day I bought my truck I was pedal to the medal on the interstate doing over 100mph. The truck will love you for it

i had 3300 on mine, 44 degrees out and bone stock i ran a 13.93!!

Sorry it me again with RCSB and I ran a 9.02 in the 1/8 and 13.95 in the 1/4. Yes Tailgate.

Doesn't have any problems getting traction with the 4X4. I have also ran it very hard from day one.

Didn't mention it was 30minutes before Sunshine Speedway closed so I only got in two runs...My first run was closer to 10. Second was 9.7...With 20 or so runs under my belt I'm sure I could hit low 9's.

Well how bout I take a different car to the track and race against you...say my dad's chipped SL65?? Wonder who sees who's a$$ end then?? Do YOU make it over 100mph in the 1/8?? 105??

I wonder how that would do against my bike? I have never had it on the track. Suzuki gsxr750. May be a good race seeing how we can't race our trucks

I also had a 2000 Tundra 4.7 that I ran hard from day one and it never used a drop of oil. If it does consume oil I will fix it when it happens. Look where I work.

um.. im not a mechanic, but isnt running a new truck hard kinda bad for the engine?
