Default Bed Level question

I've noticed for awhile now that when standing behind the truck the bed looks like it is lower on the driver side than the passenger side. I took a tape measure and measured from the ground to the top of the bumper. I got 29 1/2" on the driver side and 30 1/2" on the other. I have a 07 DC TRD Limited. Does anybody have any thoughts on this?

No way... I called my dealership this morning about the exact same problem. I'm not exactly sure what I measured (like 3 weeks ago), but it was definitely different. It's extremely noticeable on my truck.

I would imagine if they deem something wrong they'll just replace the leaf pack or something.

Take the shoe off your left foot when you are looking at it from the rear.
Sorry about that..... Haven't noticed that in my truck. If I can ever wrestle my truck back from my Son, I will measure it.......

Air pressure and "bounce" the rear end and try again. Leafs will stick slightly from time to time, which is normal for all leaf packs.

I have often thought mine was lower on the driver side front, but after putting a tape measure to it. It is with in a 1/2". I don't think I will take it to the dealer for that. I think the way the front end looks gives it a look that could it mite not sit level.

I noticed that on mine too ... I just thought it was the extra weight from the fuel tank on the drivers side? I dunno ...

+1^ That might make sense I did fill up the night before. I'll have to check it out later when it's empty. Thanks for all the suggestions.

I saw the same thing a couple days ago and I'm thinking WTF? so I measured and it was about 2" different (lower on driver's side) and there's no way that is right. Maybe the ground is uneven there or something. I crawled around underneath and the suspension on the driver's side was about 2" closer to the stop than on the passenger side. I looked for broken springs, or spring attachments to the frame and everything looked normal. Then I looked at the left front tire, and the ground there is a bit lower than the right side. The truck was simply a bit off level in the front which makes sense. I moved it to a totally level area, and this "problem" went away.

Moral of the story: make sure the ground under the front of the truck is level. Then measure
