Default Please help: Remove the rear fold seats in an 07 DC

Hi folks

I want to install some Peel and Seal on the floor of my truck for sound deadening. I can unscrew the bottom of the rear seats but it seems to be on a track for when it folds up and I can't figure out, nor find doing a forum search, how to undo that part of the rear seat.

Any help is appreciated. 07 Tundra 5.7 DC SR5

Thanks!

Nevermind, I figured it out. They are on hooks so using some effort and lifting straight up towards the roof will remove the seat.

Unfortunately both seats are attached with an odd screw that I don't have an allen key for...

Are you trying to insulate the back seat area to help stop exhaust drone? let us know if it helps.

Thanks for the help and PDF. Yes I am trying to insulate the car from noise etc.

My initial thought is Peel and Seal on the floor and back of back seats and then the better stuff for the vertical surfaces like the doors.

I am going to start the job now and will keep you posted.

The back wall used about 40' of the 50' x 6" roll and it took about 45 minutes. I didn't remove the seats totally just pulled them away from the wall. I used a wooden roller with a thin head to roll it on nice and tight.
