TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2007 and later Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "Black Tundra Gallery", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
Lowered 5" in front and 6" in the back. Just need to finish smoking the taillights and gloss black paint matching the mirrors, bumpers and door handles and I'll be ALL done cosmetically.
Gotta love our black rcsb's! Barbarian thats a sweet truck, Gotta love those 20" alloys
It's barberDan actually, Thanks for thinking so highly of it. Black is definetly the way to go on the 07+ Tundras!
Oh I have to correct myself. I did a 2" leveling kit before the drop so that is why I said 5" in front and 6" in the back. It was actually a 3"/6" drop VS factory.

Whoops! My bad sorry about that just looked at your user name real quick. I love the black these tundra but they are a bit*h to keep clean.
MY Toyota dealership washes the truck once a week for free. If it's not raining on Sunday or Monday than It's sparkling like new. I really think that was a wonderful part of the deal with my Toyota.

That's tight! I like the way they look. Now only if I had some extra cash to get those.
Btw, I'll be posting more pics once I get that Ranch Hand installed. I'm praying that they can get me one by next Friday instead of 4 weeks. I don't want to have to wait over a month to get them installed! Ahhhhh.

If you decide to go with the blinglights and get the kit I did, you are welcome to pm me if you need help with the install. The instructions are a bit vague.

Thank you. Was it something I could do? I've never done anything to my vehicle before and my dad's the type that wouldn't even let me change the oil on my '98 Expedition fearing that I'd mess it up somehow. I have a feeling he'd want to get it installed, but if it's really easy, I'd like to just do it myself.
Do you recommend these or the PIAA lamps? It's really dark where I'm at school and I'd like something that'd cut through that darkness, even as excellent as these headlights are. I do like the halo effect though, that is pimp.

Don't diy unless you have experience. It can be a bit confusing. The PIAA's are better quality lights but the Blings are excellent for the price. You may want to consider upgrading your stock light bulbs also. Search and you will find many threads on it but Hella and Sylvania make excellent choices and will give you the brighter, whiter beams.
The Tundra takes these bulbs-
Low beam headlamp H11-55W
High beam headlamp 9005

be very careful that you don't get the complimentary dealer installed swirl marks with those free washes! especially on black!

I agree, the Barber has a sharp truck! I will be getting black wheels and going up with much more sidewall, though
It never ends does it? Im trying to find 1 1/2 '' blocks for my rear suspension and am considering a CF dash overlay and D.T.Headers now !!! I sold a utility trailer last night and the money is burnin a hole in my pocket !!
