height is 6"" and thats pushing it. it totally sucks. the biggest custom box I have seen is max mounting depth is 5" and thats pushing it. You can allways raise the back seat up, put it on blocks like the titian guys do.

Need a shallow mount(3-4" depth) sub. Not much room back there. I'm going to install some 8" RF HE2's that I have lying around. 4.25" deep, but can build with 1/2"hdf to same some space.

Yeah, these guys are right, no way that sub will fit under the rear seat. If you want to go under the seat you'll need a shallow mount sub in an enclosure no higher than 4 3/4" - 5", depending on the height of the trim ring. The one I built is 4 3/4" and I still had to raise the seat up 1/4" . JL has a new stealth box out or coming out soon with a 8" cone to go under the seat and face outwards.

It's a new bunch of shallow woofers in the market.Check the memphis they are 4 1/2 and the alpines or pioneers. It's a good bunch for a good prices.Just build a 5" maximun high box and install 2 and you set.Im goin with the memphis soon.
