TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2007 and later Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "Cheapest find for 20" Carved Alloys?", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
Loving the looks of the 20" Carved Alloys on the Slate Metallic Tundras! Do any of you know the cheapest place to purchase them? TRDSparks has them for $335 and an ebay company (Concelli) has them for $295. I am looking for the TPMS valves since I have the Steel Styled Wheels which are the only Toyota wheels that I know of that have this angle for some reason. I would also like to order a set of the lock lugs for each wheel. Do you think I should just get tires in my own town instead of having them shipped as well? Thank you! Put 2 examples of members' trucks: one with chrome steps, handles and mirrors; the other with chrome handles, black mirrors and brushed stainless w/black steps. My truck has the black handles, mirrors, brushed stainless steel w/black steps and tinted windows all the way around. I look forward to the look....
Sparks had the best price when I looked. I found someone local who did them for $1100 OTD Cash.
See if you can find someone who lives in your area and gets a Toyota discount. Shops get 25% off parts usually.

I purchased the Carved Alloy's from the dealership. They sold them for $1340 which is $335 per wheel like Sparks. However, I saved the cost of shipping. I had the styled steel wheels stock, so I too had the challenge with the TPMS. I elected to not purchase new sensors since they cost over $300. My light has come on, but I have learned to not let it bother me. I think I will put a piece of black tape over the light so you can't see it. I ordered tires locally from tire shop. They were better priced than online. I went with Nitto 420S in 305/50/20. Here's a pic of mine with the wheels.
Thank you for the input! I will talk to my connection at the dealership about that 25% that shops get off that one of you mentioned as it would be nice to get the wheels and tires for about $1650 and then spend a little to get the TPMS valves and alloy lugs. I will try to get all of it through the dealership new. I will need the alloy lugs (ThirdHorseman), and I will let you know if this was an offer from you to help or hook me up.
Yes, I will send you my set. I actually already shipped them to a friend in Tenn. to give to the new owner of my SR5 alloys, and apparently he went out and spent $125 at the dealer for a set. Long, annoying story there, so they are yours for free if you give them a good home! My friend in Tenn will just mail them to you directly.

That is one sweet looking truck. That is my dream truck. All I need now is the wheels and tires. I work for a Toyota dealer and I can get them for about 1200. I haven't been able to get them YET. Not enough funds.
