Well, not everyone has the opportunity to purchase an X-SP as they are only sold in certain areas of the country. So if someone wants to customize the way their Tundra looks, and Toyota will sell the parts, then why shouldn't they if they want to.

Maybe you should have just bought the base line Tundra seeing that everyone is changing theirs to something different. Knowone asked for your opinion.
Not to be rude, but what the hell is this "XSP"? Is this some kind of dealer thing where they stick aftermarket stuff on a vehicle and then charge more than the cumulative cost of the parts for it?

Well, a dash kit is not exactly proprietary...seems to me that Sherwood as well as several other companies offer dash kits for the Tundra in a variety of colors.
I was not trying to be rude it is just that why get the same thing as every one else. But
I do see were you people are coming from and I wopuld get the dash kit to but every one keep asking me about my dash fit at the dealer as I have not picked up my truck.
Well, the dash kit is one of those things that doesn't leave many options. You can either:
1.) Leave it alone
2.) Go CF
3.) Go aluminum (which is very close to the stock silver)
4.) Go woodgrain
5.) Custom color like red, yellow, blue, etc
Considering the majority of Tundra interiors are gray and black, if you're a Tundra owner looking for a subtle dash kit, you've already knocked #1, #4, and #5...
