i have a 4x4 5.7 and races 2 titans. dont know if they were stock or not but beat both of them about 2 full lenghts. from a dig , 30 punch and 70 punch. the last guy was impressed with the tundra and said that was the first one he had raced. he was cool about it. the first guy was an a-hole and he started it and i finished it.

I personally wouldn't race my truck until it had at least 1000-1500 miles on it. They say you are supposed to drive easy for a reason. Wait until a little later to race the guy. Ain't no shame in telling him it is still too new to race.

The titan's stock engine tone and lack of traction gives it a false comparison of speed in my eyes. I drove one and it felt marginally slower (Xtra cab 4X2 08' Titan VS RCSB 2WD 5.7L Tundra!) but in reality it is a far fetched comparison. Anyone into drag racing can compare a high 14 second machine with a very low 14 second machine and know there is a large difference in a friendly drag race.

My Tundra is a blast to share with other but I don't drive enough and it has a measly 1300 miles on it after 4 months. I hope it's true that it'll open up in a couple thousand miles. the G-tech meter already tells me that on a normal slipper road(Vs the track) and just stomping the gas plain and simple puts out a consistant 14.5s quarter at 95MPH. It should run 14.0 @ 98 stock and lowered so I'm looking forward to the 3500 mile mark.

i have the crewmax and raced a few titans, now that i think of it i raced every damn truck around here, except for the propane boosted f250's. but back to the titans, i walked everyone of them except my buddies who has a few goodies. i only managed to beat him a truck lenght. the only truck that almost got me was a 07 denalli, which i barley beat him. the only mod i have is a volant cai.

Imagine how that Denali powertrain would perform with 1500 lbs less flab in an RCSB truck.
