TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2007 and later Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "How Much Do The New Tundras Weigh", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
Both Toyota websites give weights in the specifications section. A US truck should check the US website as the weights may be different for the US trucks versus the Canadian version.
I weighed my skimpy tundra at 4600LBS (to the nearest 10LBS on a scale).
1/10 tank of fuel, spare/jack regular equiptment all included. No driver.
That is a lot lighter than the website specs, and you are not the first person to notice and post this, so I believe your weight is good. I am thinking the website specs are on the liberal side, but I wonder why they would overstate the weights?
I don't know exactly. A person like myself wants to see a lighter than competition curb weight but many people want the macho-est heaviest pickup when comparing them...

I weighed mine at the track and it weighed 4675 without me in it had little less than 1/4 of a tank of gas and everything in it, jack, spare tire,Etc.SO your 4600 seems about right with a tenth of a tank of gas.
I just had to weigh my truck empty before I moved and then weigh it with the load in it ,a little extra money from the military is fine with me! My weight ticket said 5360 LBS With 1/3 tank 5.7L DC 2wd.

I don't know, I weighed my on the DOT truck scales just down the road and mine was within 100 pounds of just what it says in the Tundra showroom brochure. It breaks down 2WD, 4WD, and DC, CM, etc weights. These babies are heavy, mines only 400 pounds less than my SC 4X4 3/4 ton Ford diesel piglet.
dang, so 4x4 make a 3-400 lbs difference. I weighed it this past weekend at the race track and it was at 5640 lbs and that was on an empty gas tank, no spare and no tail gate. but included 180lbs driver. I guess im the only thing that can lose weight now. unless i start gutting the truck.
Better hurrry up and move what ever is on other side of Tundra cause tree limbs get really heavy really quick!! but if you have a low deductable let it set!!
