Default Installed an 3M Clear Bra on my Tundra...

Its an awesome kit installed it myself..bought it for $140 the 3M Clear Bra Covers 12 inches of the hood, headlight, foglights, below headlight trims, front end fenders, upper bumber, lower bumper, saved bout $400 bucks for someone else to do it..It took me half of the day tho to do it but I took breaks between sections so I would say maybe 3-5hrs max..Oh gotta have patience with this stuff make sure to have the proper stuff and keep the film clean...Its awesome stuff you can't really see it...

Where did you buy the kit from? I've been thinking about getting it and doing it myself saves a ton. Also, how much trouble did it give you when you put it on?

Bought it on ebay...I don't see it on ebay now I was gonna give you the link to it..like I said earlier need patience to do this and be extra carefull with the film..the kit comes with the video step by step install and great tips on what you need to prepare and some squggee accessories...It was easy to install the bumpers fenders, headlight, foglight covers..the hood took longer do to its curves on sides...if I was to do it locally thay gave me almost $540 price..I spent $189 on this kit..saved a bunch..

Great idea guys. RobertT3 -- maybe I'm slow, but I couldn't find your gallery in the member galleries. I looked where Robert would be alphabetically but no luck. What am I doing wrong. Thanks in advance.

Just ordered my 3M kit from ebay for $190. Includes the headlight/fog lamp kit. Looking forward to putting it on next week. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I have installed many of these on various cars...a couple tips. If it doesn't look like it will fit, its because you need to apply heat and stretch it. Heat is especially needed on complex shapes like headlights and mirrors. Just borrow your wifes blowdryer and place it on high. Make sure it is nice and wet with the soap solution under the material before you heat up the material in place, on the car. Anchor the material on an edge or in the middle for a hood, then heat and stretch.
