Default Steering Wheel Controls

Does anyone know what the round blank on the right side of the steering wheel is for?? The fact that the wheel is not symmetrical drives me crazy!

So far it is for nothing...on any of them, I wish there was a couple of heater controls there.

I think (I'm not certain, because I don't remember off the top of my head) that you're still right...for the second model year, Toyota leaves that half of the steering wheel blank...I would've figured that by this time, they would've replaced that blank with what it appears they were designed for (as we have seen in other Toyota models) to house a "Temp Up/Temp Down" and "Auto" button for the climate controls...Who knows if they'll ever put them there...
