Angry 6x9s in the front door?
Can someone please tell me how to get 6x9s in the front door. I'm hitting a post in the door limiting the depth so that now the door panel won't get back on properly. Whats the deal?

You can either build adapter rings out of 1/2" - 3/4" MDF or order a set from ebay. There is a guy on there selling them.

Also, you have to cut the plastic honeycomb molding on the door panel so it will fit back on.

Does your speakers have a front lip around it? I had Best Buy install my Infinity Reference 9623i's. They had to trim off about 3/8ths inch off the factory mounts and remove the half inch lip from the speakers. The mounting depth of the speakers was 3 1/3 inches and it just cleared the window glass.
