Default Mirror removal

Does anyone have the PDF of the mirror blow-up from Tundra? I'm taking the chrome off my truck and cant figure out how to get it apart the right way. I could also use the door handle schematic. Oh, by the way it's for the limited mirrors.

Uh, you are probably better off just taking off the chrome cover and getting a black plastic one (that you can sand down and paint). Refer to my chrome mirror and door handle install here...of course, you are doing the opposite

Trouble is, I don't think they just sell the OEM black piece. If you mean the cheep chrome covers they sell on ebay... not on my $40K truck.

I haven't decided yet if I'm going to swap out for black ones or color match them. I need to get a few more estimates first. Oh, and thanks for the mirror removal link "mhadden", didn't see it before when I did my search. it's pretty much what I thought it was.

Nevermind, realized you have an 08

It costs around $25 to get them painted though.
