Default 07 Tundra Remote start/receiver issue

I just have 2 issues......
1. Need to know if anyone has had trouble with the range on the remote start/keyless entry system? I can't go more than about 30 feet on level ground. It doesn't pick up the signal. Its works great at about 100 feet away if I'm about 30 feet in the air(balcony). Any ideas or possible fixes?

2. Does anyone have the factory remote start? If so has anyone found a way to bypass the stupid autoshut down switch? Its totally retarted to start a truck, let it get nice and warm/cold for 10 min, then as soon as you go to get in, the damn thing shuts off as soon as you unlock it. Its a waste!! Not to mention the torture its putting my starter through. Any help would be great. Thanks

I have the same issues ~ My dealer agrees ~ But they cant return the factory remote starter ~ They are giving me a aftermarket starter for less then there cost ~ I would not recommend anyone order the factor remote starter.

The range on the regular remote is just as bad. I can't even use it from my pocket of mesh shorts from more than 20 feet away. It's such a crappy piece of machinery. I want the old one back like on the 4runner. That thing would work from a mile away, literally.
