Default Yanked out a tree!

Its actually an Evergreen tree that only 8-9ft tall. It was very wide though. I first tied onto the bottom of the tree and pulled in a few configurations and even in 4 lo it wouldnt come out. I had 3 wheels on asphalt. (some of the asphalt was a little muddy

I then untied the the tow strap (took me like 15minutes to get it off) and tied it to the middle of the tree. It then came out fairly easy in 4 lo.
The tree doesnt look way to big or anything either but it was rooted in good. Ill take some pics when i get home and post them up.

Also at work today i pulled out a mini van that was stuck in some pretty bad mud. I dont know how he got in that far to begin with. A 2wd truck might have had some trouble getting into the area he got stuck in.

We couldnt find a place to hook onto the back of his van so we hooked my clevis up to his rear leaf. Its actually where the rear leaf bolts onto the van. It looked sturdy and was our safest bet.
Gotta love having a truck! (except when people want you to help them move)

when pulling a tree or post try putting the strap/chain over a wheel rim or spare tire close to the tree. it then pulls straight up rather than trying to pull the roots side ways.

Just had to

Seriously though, that's pretty tight that you pulled out a tree. If you did that with a 4.7, I'm curious as to what us 5.7 guys can do I think I'm going to try and move the house tomorrow Never did like it so close to the neighbors.
