TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2007 and later Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "Tilting Tundra?", within the Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
Noticed that the truck seemed to sit a little higher on the passenger side when parked in the garage. Got me wondering if the garage floor was level, so I checked it out...perfectly level. Then I put the level on the front and back of the Tundra and sure enough the passenger side is about 1/2" higher both front and rear. I also measured from the ground to the wheel wells, which shows the same 1/2". All four wheels show the same air pressure. Anyone have any thoughts before I have the dealer look at it? I guess in the grand scheme of things it's no big deal, but it bothers me.
Same problem with mine. Called the dealer and will most likely have them look at it when I'm back in town, mostly to see what's up. I doubt I'll have them replace anything though.
Good luck with your issue and let us now what your dealer says. I'll have my verdict within a few weeks hopefully.
Gas tank is on drivers side rail .. you can see it easily from the rear left tire well looking in. That would produce the tilt you see if you had it filled with gas.
Also, "bounce" the suspension before you measure. Leafs can get a little sticky from road debris.
No, it's been doing this since day one (bought in September 07) so it's had lot's of time for the suspension to settle and with only 1500 miles on it no time for debris to collect. Plus the front is also 1/2" different from side to side.

Is this measured with the lift kit installed?
Rockstate, do you have modified suspension as well?
Nope, nothing except for exhaust. Later a Ranch Hand is going on so I'll take meaurements to see how that extra weight is being held up. Unfortunately they're backordered and they have 62 other orders to make before mine.
